Responsibilities
- Lead and build the Israel design organization as part of the collaborative UX leadership team
- Build a high-performing team while making strategic design decisions that drive product excellence
- Make critical design and resource allocation decisions that directly impact products
- Work alongside UX leadership peers in the US and India to shape global design vision
- Build organizational excellence in Israel
- Blend strategic design thinking with thoughtful team development
- Establish processes that enable the organization to thrive at the highest levels of quality and efficiency
- Maintain proactive communication, strong relationship-building, and highly collaborative mindset
- Work closely with distributed peers and stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones
- Ensure schedule flexibility including regular early-morning and occasional late-evening calls
- Maintain strong visibility and accessibility across international offices
- Ensure consistent alignment regardless of geography
- Influence roadmaps and feature prioritization through collaborative partnerships with product and engineering leadership
- Champion design excellence and innovation across the organization
- Create an inclusive culture of excellence that attracts and retains diverse design talent
- Optimize team allocation and prioritize design work to maximize business impact
- Lead cross-functional design reviews and stakeholder alignment sessions
- Drive adoption of design systems and best practices across development teams
- Ensure accessibility and internationalization standards are met across all products
Requirements
- 20+ years of comprehensive UX Design experience with demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions
- At least 10 years of design leadership experience at an Enterprise level
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Track record of building and scaling high-performing, diverse design teams
- Experience operating as a peer leader in global, distributed organizations
- Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills
