Baumgartner & Co. Business Consultants GmbH is looking for a Director of Operations, Scale & Structure (m/w/d). You will be the operational backbone of DFFRNT ERA, responsible for turning ideas into products, systems into scaling, and community into real customer loyalty. You will build structures that work today and scale tomorrow, orchestrating the entire value chain from product to customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Build structures that function today and scale tomorrow.
- Think in value chains from product to customer experience and implement them into a smart operating system with processes, tools, and routines designed for growth.
- Orchestrate tools like ERP, CRM, shop systems, automations, and AI into a cohesive system.
- Synchronize fulfillment, marketing, e-commerce, finance, and people operations to be efficient and aligned.
- Steer complex cross-company projects with focus, responsibility, and clear prioritization.
- Create transparency with a KPI framework that makes progress measurable and impact visible.
- Automate what can be automated, together with Tech & AI, to reduce friction and increase flow.
- Build an environment where people grow and deliver results, not just lead a team.
- Work directly with the founders and our process architect to question, demand, structure, and bring solutions.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of operational leadership experience in an e-commerce or FMCG/DTC environment with real impact.
- Experience building scalable systems, from product launch to returns.
- Comfort and drive with technology: ERP, CRM, dashboards, automations, AI tools.
- Strong affinity for numbers, processes, and taking responsibility.
- Clear communication skills in German or English, even in tricky situations.
- Pragmatic decision-making and follow-through.
- Ownership as a lived attitude: hands-on, steering, thinking ahead, and implementing.
- Leadership with empathy, clarity, and trust, focused on team development.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and bring order when direction changes.
