Allstate is looking for a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive profitable growth and achieve business goals by building new sales and cultivating customer relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for building and retaining your own book of business within your assigned market and retail location.
What You'll Do
- Drive new business sales and build rapport and trust with customers.
- Attract and generate new customers and cross-sell existing customers for products including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
- Sell to walk-in customers.
- Market products outside of the office via marketing calls and in-person visits to create community relationships.
- Assist customers in the office.
- Initiate outbound calling to an established target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitor key competitors in the local market area and suggest initiatives to improve the company’s position.
- Work with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
- Deliver optimal results within appropriate metrics, including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
- Understand, promote, and remain current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures.
- Receive customer payments, issue receipts, and verify reports of receipts for cash drawers.
What We're Looking For
- 0 – 2 years of experience.
- P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
Nice to Have
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross sell / retention of customers.
- Leverages community contacts (natural market) to continually build a sales pipeline, as well as an active physical presence in your own community to build multiple centers of influence/referral sources.
- Monitors key competitors in the local market area and makes suggestions on initiatives that could improve the company’s position in the marketplace.
- Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
