State Street is looking for a Digital Product Development Lead to drive the strategic direction of our digital assets and distributed ledger technology offerings. You will support evolving ideas into pilots and develop products for clients, working across functions and collaborating with teams across the firm.
What You'll Do
- Conduct market research and develop business cases for digital asset and DLT initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to define use cases and deliver innovative digital solutions.
- Lead ideation, delivery, and management of digital products across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Champion the team’s profile internally and externally by channeling innovative ideas into products and services.
- Drive strategic thinking and competitive intelligence to advance digital asset services and ecosystem growth.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years’ experience in financial services (front office, capital markets, trading, operations) with a strong track record in project management and cross-functional product delivery.
- Deep understanding of crypto, digital assets, DLT, asset servicing, and market/regulatory trends.
- Analytical, innovative, and results-driven, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning in the digital asset space.
- Strong understanding of enterprise financial technology solutions, governance processes, and large-scale business implementation.
- Proven experience developing and launching innovative digital products (blockchain, smart contracts, tokenization, wallets, cryptocurrencies) within complex organizations.
- Skilled in Agile/Scrum environments and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders.

- Consulting experience is a plus.
- Depth in any one or more of these value streams: Delivered innovative transfer agency solutions for mutual funds and alternative investments.
- Depth in any one or more of these value streams: Integrated legacy transfer agency systems with modern platforms.
- Depth in any one or more of these value streams: Delivered interoperable digital cash solutions and regulatory compliant settlement for deposit tokens, stablecoins, and CBDCs.
- Depth in any one or more of these value streams: Integrated third party platforms via secure APIs for straight through order to settlement and automated processing.
- Depth in any one or more of these value streams: Implemented enhanced KYC/KYB and transaction monitoring for digital assets, enforcing global compliance via smart contracts.
- Depth in any one or more of these value streams: Enabled seamless processing of fund subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
- Depth in any one or more of these value streams: Delivered secure APIs and fund admin for digital ETFs/ETPs, ensuring audit ready controls for multi jurisdiction launches.
- Depth in any one or more of these value streams: Structured tokenized MMFs and digital share classes, automating eKYC/KYB onboarding and subscriptions/redemptions (fiat, deposit tokens, stablecoins).
