Postmedia, a leading news publisher, is hiring a Digital Editor for The Windsor Star. You will oversee the operations of Windsorstar.com, the region’s busiest news site, starting early in the day. You’ll work closely with reporters in the field in Windsor and Essex County to meet the demands of a fast-paced digital news cycle.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations on the Windsor Star website, Windsorstar.com.
- Work directly with reporters in the field in Windsor and Essex County.
- Craft compelling SEO headlines to maximize audience reach.
- Edit content and guide others to pivot quickly to meet digital needs.
- Juggle assignments flexibly while generating ideas for content that attracts and retains readers.
- Work closely with the managing editor and adhere to the newsroom's mission and priorities.
