Responsibilities:
• Assist mechanics with maintenance and repairs on rental equipment including aerial lifts, compactors, loaders, and excavators
• Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and equipment inspections
• Support troubleshooting of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
• Help maintain shop organization, tools, and equipment documentation
• Assist with equipment inspections and preparing machines for rental or return from jobsites
Learning Opportunities:
• Hands-on experience working on equipment from manufacturers such as CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, and JLG
• Exposure to aerial, earthmoving, and compaction equipment used on active construction projects
• Mentorship from experienced diesel and heavy equipment mechanics
• Shop experience in the construction equipment industry
