GluCare is looking for a DHA Registered Nurse (UAE National only) to join our clinical team at the GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center. You will deliver exceptional patient care in a modern, fast-paced clinical environment, with a primary focus on diabetes management, education, and clinical support.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign checks, blood glucose monitoring, and patient observations.
- Educate patients on diabetes management, including lifestyle tips and monitoring instructions, ensuring compliance with care plans.
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to infection control standards.
- Assist in the preparation and handling of equipment for procedures, wound care, and specimen collection.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing empathy and clarity to address their questions and concerns.
- Reinforce health education provided by physicians, encouraging self-care practices and adherence to treatment plans.
- Accurately record and update patient information, treatment plans, and observations in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse or physician promptly.
- Adhere to all DHA regulations, nursing guidelines, and GluCare protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with best practices in diabetes care and nursing support.
What We're Looking For
- Valid DHA Assistant Nurse License
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach
Nice to Have
- Experience in endocrinology, diabetes care, or chronic disease management
- Knowledge of diabetes management and patient education in lifestyle-related chronic conditions
- Basic proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
