NTT DATA is hiring a DevOps Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert for internal clients. You will translate business requirements into technology terms, develop complex algorithms, and design, test, implement, and maintain software code that enables computer systems to perform specific tasks. What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Platform Specialists to analyze detailed business requirements and design solutions that meet them.
- Prepare technical specifications, system flowcharts, and detailed design documents for implementation.
- Perform proof of concept activities and convert designs into complete information systems.
- Acquire and install systems environments, create and test databases, and prepare test procedures.
- Code, compile, and refine programs, performing test readiness reviews and resolving program errors.
- Assist with the installation, deployment, and production implementation of solutions.
- Support implemented code sets in production according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Resolve problems identified during integration and test phases and conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Document the entire development process, including procedures for application use and security.
- Write and distribute task descriptions for operating and maintaining designed solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Seasoned experience deploying software solutions in an outsourced or similar IT environment.
- Proven experience working in a multi-team environment across multiple geographies.
- Seasoned programming/development experience, including familiarity with Agile processes (SCRUM, KANBAN).
- Advanced ability to design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Seasoned knowledge of deployment and release management and automation tooling and source code repositories.
- Ability to take a holistic view of application environments, including hardware, applications, databases, OS, and storage.
- Excellent client-centricity, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Knowledge of project management principles and a drive to improve internal methodologies, processes, and tools.

- Relevant DevOps certification.
- Relevant Agile-related certification.
- Relevant certification for cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Relevant certification for scripting and programming languages, such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
