Salvo Software is hiring a DevOps Engineer / SysAdmin

Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure to support both internal needs and client-facing digital transformations.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD, pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) to ensure rapid, high-quality software delivery.
  • Oversee Docker and Kubernetes environments to ensure scalable and reliable application hosting.
  • Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively address performance issues.
  • Set up, integrate, and maintain AI/ML systems and tooling to support the company's growing use of intelligent automation.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and internal tooling using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Own the full lifecycle (provisioning, configuration, and support) of NUC computers and devices for our distributed workforce.
  • Maintain Windows domains (Active Directory), VPNs, and secure access controls.
  • Define and enforce strict user access levels for sensitive, licensed OEM data to ensure project-based compliance.
  • Independently execute hardware upgrades and configurations, including factory routers, firewalls, and switches.
  • Act as the sole Tier 2 escalation point for the team, ensuring internal productivity never stalls.

Requirements

  • Cloud Architecture: Design, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure

  • Containerization: Oversee Docker and Kubernetes environments
  • Observability: Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • AI Systems: Set up, integrate, and maintain AI/ML systems and tooling
  • Programming & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts and internal tooling using Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Global Endpoint Management: Own the full lifecycle of NUC computers and devices for distributed workforce
  • Identity & Network Ownership: Maintain Windows domains (Active Directory), VPNs, and secure access controls
  • Data Security: Define and enforce strict user access levels for sensitive, licensed OEM data
  • Infrastructure Projects: Independently execute hardware upgrades and configurations including factory routers, firewalls, and switches
  • Technical Support: Act as the sole Tier 2 escalation point for the team
