Responsibilities
- Design and manage cloud-based infrastructure using IaC practices
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability
- Ensure infrastructure complies with security and compliance standards
- Automate operational workflows to reduce manual intervention
- Support incident response and on-call rotations as needed
- Optimize cloud resource usage for cost and performance
- Maintain version control and configuration management systems
- Integrate security practices into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps)
- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Manage logging and monitoring solutions for distributed systems
- Participate in system architecture planning and reviews
- Enforce infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
- Stay current with evolving cloud and DevOps technologies
- Document systems, processes, and configurations
- Contribute to post-mortem analyses after incidents
- Support audit and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with security teams to harden environments
