Devoteam is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer specialized in Site Reliability Engineering to join our team. You'll be responsible for the administration and operation of our distributed Unix-based systems, ensuring the reliability and performance of a demanding, high-availability environment.
What You'll Do
- Administer and operate distributed systems based on Unix architectures
- Manage and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters
- Implement and continuously improve DevOps practices
- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Oversee monitoring, observability, and logging
- Troubleshoot complex incidents
- Support cross-functional technical initiatives across the infrastructure landscape
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux systems administration
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in on-prem environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or similar)
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible
- Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, LDAP, etc.)
- Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar
- Experience working with open-source technologies
- Proficiency with Git for version control
