Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements for uptime and scalability
- Manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Troubleshoot production issues across development, staging, and live environments
- Collaborate with developers to streamline deployment workflows
- Implement and maintain containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes
- Automate routine operational tasks to increase efficiency
- Support incident response and participate in on-call rotations
- Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures
- Optimize resource usage and cloud spending
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Integrate monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus or Grafana
- Manage version control systems and branching strategies
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure deployment stability
- Deploy and maintain logging and analytics platforms
- Configure and manage load balancers and reverse proxies
- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Support identity and access management policies
- Evaluate new tools and technologies for operational improvements
- Participate in code and architecture reviews
- Assist in onboarding new team members to operational systems
