We're hunting for a creative engineer to join our compact DevOps team supporting software developers in industrial automation products. Located on the RA Prague campus, we're looking for a new colleague with experience or keen interest in software development, process automation, or someone already familiar with DevOps culture. Our team follows Agile development, and the project teams we support use Scrum or eSAFE methodologies. You'll directly collaborate with exceptional software and firmware projects and smart development teams, growing your career in R&D by solving challenging problems using cutting-edge tools and practices. You'll report to the Prague manager and work in a hybrid model: three days in-office, two days remote. Your Responsibilities: • Work with teams to implement DevOps tools and practices • Design and develop tools, scripts, and applications for continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and continuous testing (CT) • Leverage modern development tools and promote continuous improvement of engineering practices • Provide technical guidance to developers and testers for shared DevOps infrastructure • Support development teams by handling cross-project tasks, enabling engineers to focus on their expertise • Help with hardware and testbed maintenance to ensure smooth code building, testing, and releasing • Advocate and share successful DevOps practices across projects, driving collaboration and efficiency The Essentials - You Will Have: • University degree in informatics or engineering, or equivalent professional experience • 2 years of professional DevOps experience • Working proficiency in Czech and English • Advanced Python skills or strong commitment to becoming a Python enthusiast • Ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems • Experience automating activities using Python, shell scripting, and other languages • Proficiency with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools • Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools The Preferred - You Might Also Have: • Cloud development experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Familiarity with GitHub Actions and DevOps principles • Knowledge of infrastructure management tools like Terraform and Ansible • Understanding of on-prem and public cloud environments • IT networking and protocol expertise • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana • Familiarity with Artifactory and Coverity What We Offer: • Comprehensive mindfulness programs with Calm premium membership • Volunteer Paid Time Off after 6 months • Company volunteer and donation matching program • Employee Assistance Program • Personalized wellbeing programs • On-demand digital course library for professional development • Additional local benefits!
