Responsibilities
- Design and manage AWS cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Create and enhance CI/CD systems to support frequent and secure software releases.
- Deploy and maintain containerized workloads on Kubernetes platforms.
- Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based application environments.
- Automate routine operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
- Strengthen system observability with logging, monitoring, metrics, alerts, and visualization dashboards.
- Tune systems for optimal performance, scalability, uptime, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment reliability and developer workflows.
- Respond to production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Enforce security standards across cloud infrastructure, identity controls, network configurations, secrets handling, and delivery pipelines.
- Support compliance requirements for government-related deployments, including AWS GovCloud and public sector security standards.
- Advance platform architecture by increasing automation, fault tolerance, and operational maturity.
