Boeing Australia is hiring a Senior DevOps Developer (Level 5) for its Defense, Space & Security (BDS) division. As the Cloud DevOps lead for a critical analytics platform, you will be responsible for ensuring 24/7 cloud infrastructure availability for analysts. You will work with the project manager to provide the technical vision for the entire platform, covering compute, data access, tools, and custom solutions.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and plan work to deliver a quality product on schedule
- Mentor and provide technical reviews for junior and senior engineers
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute business strategies and plans
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and requirements
- Direct the development, build, test, and deployment of highly complex automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions
- Provide oversight, coordination, planning, and security of all infrastructure
What We're Looking For
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- 10+ years of related work experience building and maintaining compute infrastructure
- 5+ years of cloud experience
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- 5+ years managing Oracle DB and Oracle Enterprise Manager deployments
- Expert-level understanding of general infrastructure architecture
- RHEL experience
- Security hardening and security maintenance experience
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a team using a scaled agile development process
- Strong communication, adaptability, decision-making, customer focus, and integrated systems thinking
