HENSOLDT is looking for a Development Engineer Power Electronics to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing complex development work for low-voltage and high-voltage power supplies and assemblies, taking products from concept to series production.
What You'll Do
- Plan, conceptualize, and conduct complex development work for power supplies and assemblies across all power classes.
- Design, simulate, and develop complex modules, assemblies, and systems up to series production maturity.
- Dimension, calculate, and select suitable electronic components.
- Create specifications and architecture documents.
- Integrate and test segments, assemblies, and systems.
- Verify development results and create documentation according to process specifications.
- Hand over products to production and provide ongoing support.
- Supervise subcontractors and conduct continuous market observation.
What We're Looking For
- A completed engineering degree or similar qualification in power electronics, technical electronics, or communications engineering.
- Solid expertise in power electronics, including topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC, AC/AC) for energy conversion and control.
- Proficient use of simulation tools for verifying and optimizing circuit designs.
- Specific knowledge in circuit development considering electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Understanding of PCB layout guidelines for high-current and high-frequency applications.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- A sense of responsibility and a team-oriented working style.
- Fluent spoken and written German and English skills.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Ulm.
