PostHog is hiring a Developer Storyteller to create engaging content for developers and startup founders. You'll translate what we build and why into compelling narratives that resonate with our technical audience.
What You'll Do
- Write engaging newsletters for Product for Engineers, a newsletter nearing 100k subscribers.
- Own social content: keep channels active by repackaging long-form content into short posts, managing Twitter/X and LinkedIn accounts day-to-day.
- Support video content by pitching and scripting videos.
- Constantly find different ways to share what PostHog is building, why, and how to the world.
What We're Looking For
- Great writing and editing skills, comfortable with long-form newsletters and funny social posts.
- Trends watcher: know everything happening online in the tech world relevant to PostHog.
- Talk like a developer, or be one, to translate PostHog's work into language developers understand and are entertained by.
Nice to Have
- Able to travel for events promotion (not a core part of the role).
- Video skills: comfort appearing on camera or editing short videos.
- Actually can code: ability to build apps or sites that get developers' attention.
