Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary Kft. is hiring a Senior Python Developer to collaborate directly with a customer in the energy solutions industry, dedicated to decarbonization. You will focus on developing the customer's existing analytics environment to explore, build, and orchestrate rule-based and machine learning models.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain data-centric applications using Python.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and health, with a strong focus on Datadog.
- Create efficient internal processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Apply DevOps practices, Test-Driven Development, and Clean Code principles in daily work.
- Solve problems and effectively manage challenges related to system operations.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent IT work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with Python.
- Strong experience with Datadog.
- Experience with Pandas for time series data.
- Excellent written and oral English language skills.
- Experience with AWS (efficient storage use, cloud deployment).
Nice to Have
- Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Experience with GitLab and version control systems (e.g., git).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Experience with Jenkins and building data pipelines.
- Experience with SageMaker Notebooks and data-driven development.
- Experience with the ELK stack and Grafana.
