About Us
Remember that moment of pure frustration when trying to evaluate software and you hit the "sorry, you can't try our product" wall? Yeah, we totally get that pain.
That simple annoyance sparked Navattic back in 2020. We're helping companies like Ramp, Lattice, Cisco, Gusto and others create a smoother software buying experience by providing seamless product access. No more broken sandbox environments, endless trials that never hit those crucial "ah-ha" moments, or users getting lost in confusing self-service portals before seeing any real value.
Right now, we're powering interactive product demos for 1000+ customers—from scrappy startups to major enterprises. Our demos are everywhere in the customer journey: marketing websites, sales presentations, customer onboarding flows, and upsell campaigns. Basically, we're giving every software company their superpowers back by letting people truly experience their product.
What You'll Be Doing
We're seeking a design engineer who gets fired up about the entire journey from customer insight to shipped feature. Depending on what gets your engine running, you might be:
Product Discovery & Design
Teaming up with a product engineer to deep dive into customer feedback and chart a feature's direction
Designing features for our core product for marketers or our newer Launchpad product for sales teams
Iterating and prototyping in the problem space you've identified. Often self-led, but super collaborative in the iteration process.
Design & Development
Polishing already-built features that need that extra design magic
Designing and/or coding critical UI patterns (demo publishing flows, share links—the interactions that make or break user experience)
Building components for Compass UI, our design system that keeps everything consistent and moving at lightning speed. We love pushing Figma to its limits with high-fidelity components directly connected to our codebase.
End-to-End Execution
Taking projects from initial concept through Figma designs to frontend implementation
Prototyping ideas to test with users before full build-out
Ensuring nothing gets lost in the design-to-code translation
Our Design Philosophy
We believe in product-minded design - beautiful pixels that don't solve real customer problems are basically worthless. We want capable end-to-end people who can move from ideation to implementation without losing an ounce of fidelity. We also value business-minded thinking to ensure we keep leading the market.
Why this approach? We've seen what happens with too many handoffs - feature cycles drag on forever, and brilliant ideas get watered down. We're staying lean and fast because that's our competitive edge: speed and execution quality while our competitors are still scheduling meetings.
What We're Looking For
Skills & Experience
Strong Figma skills with a killer eye for both user experience and visual design
Frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, Typescript) - you don't need to be a coding guru, but comfortable jumping into code
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Understanding of user research and translating insights into design decisions
Mid to Staff level experience preferred, but we're more excited about enthusiasm and growth potential
Mindset
You think about business impact alongside design craft
You thrive in the messy, iterative process of building products
You're comfortable with ambiguity and can drive projects forward independently
You want to ship fast and iterate based on real user feedback
