RemoteVA PH is hiring a Dental Billing Specialist to ensure accurate and timely entry of dental insurance claims. You will use your expertise in dental procedures and coding to manage the complete claim lifecycle from a remote, work-from-home environment.
What You'll Do
- Enter and submit dental insurance claims accurately using dental billing software.
- Review treatment notes and verify all procedures are properly coded with CDT codes.
- Ensure patient and insurance information is correct before claim submission.
- Track and update claim status, following up on pending or rejected claims.
- Post insurance payments and adjustments when necessary.
- Communicate with dental office staff and insurance companies to resolve claim issues.
- Maintain organized and accurate claim records for auditing and reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in dental billing and claim entry.
- Knowledge of dental insurance plans, CDT codes, and EOBs.
- Proficiency with dental billing software such as Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
