About the Role

This position involves delivering and managing secure cloud solutions for government clients, with a focus on Azure Government and Microsoft 365 GCC High platforms. The engineer ensures systems are deployed, maintained, and optimized according to federal compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure within Azure Government environments
  • Implement and manage Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant settings and security policies
  • Support federal compliance requirements including FedRAMP, ITAR, and DoD standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across cloud platforms
  • Collaborate with clients to understand technical needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Document system configurations, processes, and change management activities
  • Perform system monitoring and ensure high availability of cloud services
  • Assist in migration projects from legacy systems to secure cloud environments
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government cloud security protocols
  • Work with identity and access management systems for secure authentication
  • Support data protection strategies including encryption and backup solutions
  • Participate in security audits and compliance assessments
  • Configure and manage conditional access and multi-factor authentication
  • Optimize cloud resource usage for performance and cost efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance during project planning and execution phases
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Respond to incidents and support disaster recovery procedures

  • Assist in developing automation scripts for repetitive tasks

Job Description: Role Summary:The M365 Licensing Specialist is our Subject Matter Expert on Microsoft licensing, responsible for both advisory guidance and operational execution across multiple channels and programs. You will guide our internal sales team and clients on the most appropriate licensing for given scenarios, process license orders and renewals, provision customer tenants, respond to licensing inquiries, and maintain accurate records and documentation.This role requires deep familiarity with the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program and an advanced ability to research and interpret Microsoft documentation including licensing guides, licensing terms, and other materials. Familiarity with meeting CMMC requirements with Microsoft GCC and GCC High licensing is a significant advantage.As a Tier-1 Microsoft Direct Bill partner, we do not have distributor support for licensing questions—this role is our primary licensing expertise and operates with significant autonomy.
