EY seeks a Data Security Engineer to join our global Information Security team. You will be responsible for configuring and managing data security solutions, primarily focusing on our enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system. This role involves translating business requirements into technical capabilities, overseeing DLP configurations, and contributing to the development of our Data Access Governance program.
What You'll Do
- Configure Data Security Solutions like the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) System.
- Help translate business requirements to secure data with technical capabilities.
- Oversee the configuration of DLP environments in a heterogenous global environment.
- Participate in Data Access Governance Program development and assist in administering the program.
- Supervise and mentor junior analysts on the team.
- Work with vendors to support the different security technologies.
- Configure Security tools which includes configuring policies, response rules & notifications.
- Work with Monitor & Response team to analyse alerts generating from various systems to tune their configuration.
- Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations.
- Work with Senior level stakeholders (Risk Management, Compliance & Data Protection).
- Understand Business requirements and translate into technical controls.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of security controls: data classification; data labeling and data loss.
- 2-3 years of experience in one or more of: Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Technology support and Event Handling; Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance; Supporting Information Security Technology.
- English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional judgement, tact and decision-making ability.

You will be part of the Security Technology Services (STS) group within Information Security, specifically the STS DLP Engineering Team. The team is geographically dispersed within a global Information Security organization of almost 950 people.
