Booz Allen Hamilton is looking for a Data Scientist and Developer to unlock insights from complex data and solve global challenges. You will harness IoT, machine learning, and AI to translate disparate data points into objective answers and guide the development of impactful data science solutions.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with clients to understand their critical questions and operational needs.
- Dig into data-rich environments to find key information and provide a deep understanding of its meaning and use.
- Guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms, predictive data models, and quantitative analysis systems.
- Use modern tools and frameworks to develop data visualizations and lead solutions for complex programs.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining.
- 10+ years of experience using statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
- 8+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
- Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualizations.
- Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs.
- Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques.
- Experience developing algorithms with R, Python, or SQL/NoSQL.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Nice to Have
- Experience with distributed data or computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL.
- Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2.
- Experience with Databricks, GitHub, and Jira.
