111 Trans World International, LLC (dba IMG Media) is hiring a Data Scientist to drive measurable business impact through advanced analytics and production-grade machine learning solutions. You will partner with business functions to deliver analytics, experimentation, and AI capabilities supporting premium experiential offerings for major events.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of data analytics projects to solve complex business problems
- Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights
- Define analytical frameworks and partner with BI teams to deliver scalable reporting and insight products
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand the characteristics of datasets
- Develop and implement data preprocessing pipelines to ensure data quality and reliability
- Design and build dimensional models for use in analytics, reporting, and predictive ML solutions
- Lead the end-to-end process of developing, training, and deploying machine learning models for use cases like customer segmentation and dynamic pricing
- Monitor model performance and refine models post deployment
- Solution and scope the efforts and resources needed to execute data science solutions
- Identify opportunities to create business value through data science projects
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including data engineers and product managers, to implement data solutions
- Work closely with other data scientists to align methodologies and share best practices
What We're Looking For
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a data science role (1+ years with a Ph.D.)
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and relevant data science packages (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn)
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques
- Experience working with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, GCP) and production data flows (e.g. dbt, Airflow, CI/CD)
- Experience communicating and presenting technical insights to leadership and non-technical audiences
- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Experience deploying ML models to production environments (MLOps, model versioning, monitoring)
- Experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, uplift modeling, or causal inference)
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business problems into analytical solutions with measurable impact
