Eurofins Scientific is hiring a Data Review Scientist to join its Biologics department. This hybrid role primarily focuses on performing data review and technical analysis, with occasional benchwork, and is based on-site at our Portage, MI laboratory.
What You'll Do
- Apply GMP/GLP principles and high-quality standards to all responsibilities
- Perform and review routine and non-routine analyses, instrument calibration, and troubleshooting
- Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely in compliance with regulations
- Process, review, and evaluate data to generate and review reports
- Perform or review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures
- Demonstrate strong technical writing skills for documentation and communication
- Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods
- Utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation/review
- Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client-supplied) and internal SOPs
- Proactively plan and multitask to maximize productivity and meet quality metrics
- Perform laboratory operations with good dexterity, technique, accuracy, and precision
- Perform laboratory maintenance and ensure a neat, clean, and orderly workspace
- Commit to occasional overtime as required and support LEAN initiatives
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with client staff members, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision, strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related field
- 2+ years of laboratory experience
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
