Responsibilities

- Oversee the architecture and evolution of data storage and processing systems
- Ensure data platform security, compliance, and access controls are properly enforced
- Drive adoption of modern data tools and cloud-native technologies
- Mentor engineers in technical design, coding standards, and operational excellence
- Establish team goals, performance metrics, and development plans
- Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues and ensure system reliability
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for data platform initiatives
- Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and frameworks
- Support data governance and metadata management practices
- Work closely with infrastructure teams on scalability and cost optimization
