The consultant will help define and implement a data operating model, ensuring effective data governance, capability development, and stakeholder engagement across business functions.
Responsibilities
- Define data governance frameworks aligned with organizational goals
- Map data roles and responsibilities across departments
- Assess current data capabilities and identify improvement areas
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs
- Design operating model components including processes and decision rights
- Document data policies and standards
- Support integration of data functions into business operations
- Identify key performance indicators for data management
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and feedback
- Ensure alignment between data strategy and business objectives
- Develop operating model documentation for approval and rollout
- Advise on organizational change related to data functions
- Evaluate technology enablers for data governance
- Coordinate with IT and data platform teams
- Support data literacy initiatives across the organization
- Track progress against implementation milestones
- Maintain clear communication with project leadership
- Incorporate risk and compliance considerations into model design
- Provide input on team structure for data roles
- Ensure scalability and adaptability of the operating model
- Gather benchmarks from industry best practices
- Refine model based on stakeholder input
- Assist in change management planning
