The World Bank Group's Controllers (CTR) Vice Presidency is seeking a Data Officer for its Solutions and Transformation Division (CTRST). This role is central to implementing CTR's data strategy and roadmap, focusing on governance, management, and modernization to enhance productivity and efficiency in support of the institution's mission.

What You'll Do

Support the implementation of CTR’s data strategy and multi-year roadmap to increase data maturity and governance capabilities.
Collaborate with ITS and Business teams to design and maintain data standards, definitions, and business glossaries in Collibra.
Manage domain models and stewardship workflows within the governance platform.
Implement metadata capture, cataloging, and integration of technical and business metadata.
Lead Master Data Management (MDM) processes for key entities, ensuring golden records and defining survivorship rules.
Strengthen the Data Stewardship Community of Practice by developing and implementing training and guidance.
Collaborate closely with other data specialists on the team to promote consistent approaches to data management.
Manage and oversee the implementation of small to medium-sized finance transformation projects across data, systems, and emerging technology.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience supporting enterprise data strategy, governance, and management initiatives.
Hands-on experience with data governance platforms, specifically Collibra, for managing metadata, business glossaries, and stewardship workflows.
Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and processes.
Experience collaborating with technical (ITS) and business teams to design and implement data standards.
Ability to develop training materials and guide a community of data stewards.
Experience managing or overseeing data-focused transformation projects.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
