Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and documentation of meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Record preliminary descriptions of performance indicators, measurements, and business terminology.
  • Assist in leading collaborative sessions and take detailed notes to promote alignment.
  • Update and manage metadata systems or data directories under guidance.
  • Ensure proper tagging of definitions and adherence to established naming standards.
  • Identify and highlight inconsistencies or missing information for senior review.
  • Help document relationships between data tables and entity mappings.
  • Use ER diagrams or spreadsheet tools to illustrate basic data models.
  • Check foreign key connections and report any irregularities.
  • Support development of simple Python scripts or Databricks Metric Views for metric computation.
  • Test and verify calculation logic developed by senior team members.
  • Maintain a collection of reusable code templates and scripts.
  • Apply current governance rules to newly introduced data resources.
  • Take part in evaluating data quality and logging identified problems.
  • Assist in enforcing standards for metadata labels and naming formats.
  • Develop basic diagrams, flowcharts, and internal documentation materials.
  • Convert technical details into clear, accessible guides for non-technical users.
  • Manage version history of documents and ensure they are easily accessible.
