Netrix Global is hiring a Data Engineer to join our Professional Services – Data Intelligence department. You will act as a critical member of our data science team, responsible for researching, building, and designing AI systems for machine learning. You will also serve as a key communicator between data scientists and implementation teams.
What You'll Do
- Identify, create, and prepare data required for modern Data solutions and Data for AI.
- Design ETLs and ELTs for data transformations.
- Design, build, and manage Datalakes architectures.
- Work with Apache Hadoop projects like Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, and Airflow.
- Integrate and test Data solutions.
- Create and document tests to meet requirements.
- Work with Bigdata Environments.
- Manage Data Cloud services, data access, security, and data governance.
- Analyze and prepare data for Machine Learning workloads.
- Manage monitoring and logs of applications and services.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a Data Engineer/Architect role, including tasks like ETL, data preparation & ingest, and data streaming.
- Strong ability to design and define data models.
- Experience working in Cloud environments, specifically AWS.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other data process tools.
- Intermediate/Upper English Level.
- Experience with Apache Spark.
- Experience using AWS or Microsoft Data services such as S3, Glue, Athena, and Sagemaker.
- Experience using DevOps tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
- Experience working with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
