Bitful Consulting is hiring a Data Engineer to design and manage our Azure data warehouse environment. You will be responsible for database design, data modeling, and secure data migration, working closely with architects, technical leads, and business teams to implement effective data solutions.

What You'll Do

Work in an Azure data warehouse environment, developing database designs and architecture, data modeling and metadata repository creation.
Work with Architects, Technical Leads and Business Teams and contribute to the development of technical designs.
Secure data migrations & transformations to/from clients, customers, and vendors.
Provide technical database consultation on application development, global infrastructure, and other database administration efforts.
Conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows.
Migrate current ETL and SSIS packages to Synapse.

What We're Looking For

2-3+ years of proven experience performing large data migration and transformation efforts.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, & Azure Data Lake Storage.
Experience in writing complex SQL queries and creating data models.
Database performance tuning.
Data warehouse and data mart experience.
Strong knowledge of various data structures and the ability to extract data from various data sources (such as Cognos, Informatica, Hyperion, etc.).

Nice to Have

Experience or exposure to TSQL, SQL server, PL/SQL.
Experience or exposure to Informatica PowerCenter, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema.
