ATPCO is looking for a Data Engineer to build, optimize, and manage our data platform. You will ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of data systems by designing robust pipelines and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design data models and schemas
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes
- Build and optimize data storage and processing systems using AWS services
- Implement and manage real-time data streaming architectures using AWS services
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation tasks
- Implement data security and privacy measures using AWS security services
- Design and implement data architectures following Data Mesh principles within AWS
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers
What We're Looking For
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala
- Proven experience designing and building large-scale data processing systems
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data management principles
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Data Mesh principles and experience implementing related architectures in AWS
- Experience with real-time data streaming architectures using AWS services like Amazon Kinesis or Apache Kafka
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR, S3, and Amazon Redshift
- Familiarity with AWS security services and features for data security and privacy
