3Pillar is looking for a Data Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design and implement robust data pipelines and infrastructure. You will play a key role in creating scalable data solutions that drive insights and value.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on GCP
- Develop and manage data models, warehouses, and lakes to support analytics and business intelligence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data products
- Implement data governance, quality, and security best practices
- Optimize data systems for performance, cost, and reliability
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform services
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts
- Hands-on experience with GCP data tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer
- Experience building and optimizing batch and real-time data pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
Nice to Have
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform for GCP
- Knowledge of data orchestration and workflow management
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD for data systems
- Understanding of machine learning operations (MLOps) concepts
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position open to candidates located in Costa Rica.
