Comcast is looking for a Data Engineer to join a team building data engineering solutions on the AWS cloud. You will develop ETL pipelines and applications that support critical ad campaign planning, execution, and measurement functions for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Develop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) jobs using PySpark.
- Query datasets by writing SQL queries.
- Develop user interfaces using JavaScript.
- Automate ETL jobs using AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Analyze, transform, and aggregate large data sets.
- Consolidate and integrate data from multiple sources.
- Optimize ETL jobs to improve performance.
- Validate input data and perform quality assurance checks on outputs delivered through automated ETL jobs.
- Architect and design Big Data analytics solutions on AWS cloud.
- Analyze and identify patterns in data to aid clients in ad campaign planning, execution, and measurement.
- Build custom dashboards and applications for clients.
- Develop scalable, cost effective, and efficient data engineering solutions to address clients’ business needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Two (2) years of experience developing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) jobs using PySpark.
- Two (2) years of experience querying datasets by writing SQL queries.
- Two (2) years of experience developing user interfaces using JavaScript.
- Two (2) years of experience automating ETL jobs using AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3.
