We are seeking an experienced data center professional to remotely assess, review, and improve existing data center environments, and to support the redesign of data center support and service lines. The role emphasizes practical assessments, clear documentation, and solution designs aligned with recognized international standards and best practices.
What You'll Do
- Assess current data center environments and provide improvement recommendations (power, cooling, racks, cabling, layout, monitoring, resilience, safety).
- Review existing documentation and produce clear deliverables (assessment reports, risk findings, action plans).
- Support redesign of our data center support/service lines (scope of services, checklists, SLAs, maintenance plans, commissioning/handover templates).
- Create high-level and detailed diagrams (single-site / dual-site options, redundancy, topology).
- Provide BOQ/quantity guidance and vendor-neutral recommendations; support proposal/tender documentation when needed.
- Align recommendations to international standards and good practice (e.g., Uptime concepts, TIA-942, ISO/IEC 22237, ASHRAE).
