SICPA, a global leader in trust technologies, is looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer to strengthen our data and analytics capabilities. In this role, you will support the evolution of our digital and AI-driven solutions by bridging software engineering, data engineering, and analytics. You will design scalable data solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights for both operational and advanced use cases.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, both batch and event-driven.
- Develop and expose data and analytics APIs (REST / GraphQL) to support applications and machine learning outputs.
- Model, transform, and validate data to ensure high quality, consistency, and integrity.
- Collaborate with Data Science teams to support and productionize machine learning workflows.
- Structure and prepare data for business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Contribute to cloud-based, containerized data platforms and modern deployment practices.
- Translate technical data solutions into insights aligned with business and product needs.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in Python (including Pandas and NumPy) and Java.
- Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and performance optimization.
- Proven experience designing and implementing data APIs (REST / GraphQL) using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or gRPC.
- Hands-on experience with ETL / ELT pipelines and data orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Comfortable working at the intersection of technology, data, and business.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with analytics engineering tools like dbt is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus.
