Harman is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team focused on securing automotive systems and connected vehicles. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define and implement robust cybersecurity countermeasures, ensuring the resilience of our products as technology evolves.
What You'll Do
- Develop and integrate Cybersecurity features for Automotive ECUs.
- As a subject matter expert in at least one Cybersecurity domain, lead activities related to Cybersecurity architecture, design, and implementation.
- Implement comprehensive cybersecurity features for automotive systems, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the validation of Cybersecurity features and contribute to evolving Cybersecurity architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements and integrate cybersecurity measures throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Grow your understanding of secure communication protocols, access control mechanisms, encryption solutions, and intrusion detection systems within automotive systems.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on automotive or embedded systems.
- Proficient in Programming languages – C/C++, with an understanding of Linux OS.
- Knowledge of security technologies such as cryptographic algorithms, intrusion detection systems, sandboxing, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of cryptography, secure key storage, key exchange methods, and trusted platform architectures.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO 21434.
- Experience in secure coding practices and standards, specifically in C and C++ for embedded systems.
- Can-do attitude with unwavering sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, results-driven individual who is passionate about work.
