Jobgether is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to safeguard critical IT infrastructure and data through proactive monitoring, analysis, and mitigation of cyber threats. You will join a dynamic security team in a mission-driven company transforming healthcare, leveraging advanced tools to enhance organizational security posture.
What You'll Do
- Monitor network traffic and systems to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
- Respond to security incidents and participate in incident response drills.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement preventive and corrective measures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive threat intelligence reports and security documentation.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with emerging threats and technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or SOC operations.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and secure architectures.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, MDM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISA, GCFA, GCTI, GCFE, GCFR, GNFA) are a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and understanding of current cyber threats is preferred.
