Cribl is looking for a Customer Success Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor for our customers. You will guide them in achieving their desired outcomes and realizing continuous value with Cribl solutions throughout their entire journey, from onboarding to expansion.
What You'll Do
- Act as a strategic advisor, driving the entire Customer Success lifecycle.
- Become the trusted expert as customers transform data for security and observability outcomes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and senior management to drive success plans and KPIs.
- Communicate effectively with tech-touch customers using data-driven metrics and automation.
- Drive expanded value by identifying new use cases, teams, and data sources.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, experience, and engineering teams.
- Keep customers healthy in their journey to realize value and foster growth.
- Mentor and coach team members within the Customer Experience organization.
- Occasionally perform duties outside standard hours due to working across time zones.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years in a related function with direct customer advocacy and engagement in post-sales.
- Passion for customer success and empathy for customer outcomes.
- A customer-first mindset with strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Proven experience working with large, complex enterprises in a high-growth environment.
- Experience with Observability, Logs, Metrics, IT Operations, and Security, and a deep understanding of data pipelines.
- Proven ability to drive product value by developing new use-cases for data reduction, enrichment, and routing.
- Quick learner with good technical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%).
Nice to Have
- Administration of Data Engineering platforms like Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, or Snowflake.
- Technical understanding of Customer Success Platforms like GainSight or PlanHat.
- Working knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Good jokes, or maybe better, bad jokes.
- Loves talking to customers and solving problems.
- Experience working remotely.
