INNIO is seeking a Customer Site Specialist to join our Jenbacher Engines business. In this critical on-site role, you will lead the project execution, assembly management, and commissioning coordination for power plant installations worldwide, ensuring timely and smooth completion through hands-on resource planning, supervision, and safety management.
What You'll Do
- Participate in schedule creation and track deadlines, highlighting time-critical processes and developing acceleration measures.
- Perform resource planning for the timely implementation of the execution phase.
- Manage and supervise assembly, including regular progress checks and reporting.
- Handle all site documentation and correspondence, such as delivery notes and assembly protocols.
- Manage material on the execution site and in interim or customer storage areas.
- Monitor and enforce construction site safety in close coordination with the client's EHS coordinator.
- Provide and manage site equipment, including forklifts, tools, and consumables.
- Verify readiness for installation, inspect access routes and storage areas, and approve foundations.
- Supervise engine and BOP parts positioning, alignment, and final assembly of piping and wiring.
- Monitor the contract-compliant implementation of services by subcontractors.
- Supervise the establishment of commissioning readiness for plant components and systems.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and customer meetings with the commissioning team.
What We're Looking For
- An engineering degree in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
- Commercial and business management understanding.
- Proven experience in site management for power plant execution, including material management.
- Experience with products from INNIO and related plant components.
- A performance-oriented personality with strong problem-solving proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills with people on the construction site and at the executive level.
- Excellent English skills in writing and speaking.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to motivate others as a team player.
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 90%.
Nice to Have
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
Team & Environment
You will work in close coordination with project management, schedulers, subcontractors, internal departments, and the commissioning team, reporting directly to the Project Manager.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based at customer project locations worldwide.
