We are looking for a CT Technologist to join our team for a 20-hour evening/night schedule. In this role, you will perform computerized tomography examinations to aid in physician diagnosis for patients of all ages. You will assist Radiologists with procedures, deliver high-quality patient care, and strictly follow radiation safety protocols.
What You'll Do
- Obtain and document appropriate patient clinical history, verify physician orders, and review relevant lab results.
- Perform psychological and physical assessments of patients, adjusting imaging procedures to accommodate size, age, or condition.
- Assist, transfer, and position patients while ensuring their modesty and physical safety.
- Select and input appropriate imaging protocols at the Radiologist's discretion and monitor computer function during exams.
- Prepare and administer oral and intravenous contrast media as ordered.
- Process images and accurately document all work in HIS, RIS, and PACS systems.
- Check equipment operation and complete daily phantom quality assurance checks.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and equipment to prevent cross-contamination.
- Assist in other imaging modalities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- ARRT certification in Radiology.
- RTR licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Willingness to obtain CT sub-specialty certification within 1 year of employment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Commitment to maintaining all area-specific Continuing Education Units for ARRT and DPH as required by regulation.
- Knowledge equivalent to an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working in CT.
Team & Environment
You will work under the general supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly rate: $32.76 - $58.96
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000 (eligibility confirmed during the interview process)
