Grow Therapy is looking for a Credits Specialist, Medical Billing to help establish our Overpayments vertical. You’ll be a key player on overpayment validation projects within the RCM Team, contributing directly to our financial operations and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Research overpayments where payors have paid more than the amount due and fulfill refund requests.
- Initiate and manage refunds once verified, ensuring appropriate steps are taken to return funds.
- Fulfill overpayment requests based on the contractual timelines outlined by each payor.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations and policies.
- Maintain accurate records and detailed documentation for transparency, audits, and process improvement.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in Medical Billing or in a Healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare claims, overpayments, and facilitating refunds to both commercial and government payors.
Team & Environment
You’ll be part of a remote-friendly team of specialists reporting directly to the Insurance Operations Department.
