Responsibilities
- Conduct data-driven studies and statistical analyses to monitor and evaluate the credit portfolio.
- Assess portfolio performance and trends across customers and merchants to support forecasting and risk insights.
- Supervise and improve application processing and credit scoring processes, collaborating with external providers for development.
- Utilize Credit Bureau (SIC) data and indicators to inform credit decisions and portfolio monitoring.
- Work with the Fraud Management team to identify and prevent emerging fraud patterns and anomalies throughout the credit lifecycle.
- Develop and refine credit risk strategies in a rapidly expanding Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) environment.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Practical experience with credit scoring models, tools, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience or knowledge of AWS-based tools such as SageMaker, Feast, and Amazon QuickSight.
- A solid understanding of credit risk management in financial services, payments, or e-commerce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python, SAS, R, or similar tools for data analysis.
- Previous experience in consumer credit markets, particularly in credit risk or application processing.
