Fitch Group is hiring a Credit Analyst or Senior Analyst to join its Non-Bank Financial Institutions Group covering the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. In this role, you will provide clarity to the world’s financial markets by performing detailed credit analysis and communicating rating rationale.
What You'll Do
- Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the credit quality of Non-Bank Financial Institutions.
- Develop and maintain financial spreads and analytical tools.
- Present company analysis to Fitch's internal credit rating committee.
- Conduct onsite meetings with company management.
- Communicate rating rationale to external audiences, including institutional investors, analysts, and media.
- Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Financial Institutions.
- Take an active role in assisting in related industry studies.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 1-5 years of analytical experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt fluidly to changing project priorities.
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have
- Fluency in German, Spanish, Italian, and/or French (in addition to English).
- Some coverage or knowledge of bank or non-bank sectors, including leasing.
- Capital markets and/or credit analysis experience.
- An MBA and/or CFA, or progress toward these designations.
