Hire Hangar is seeking a versatile Creative Producer who excels in both video editing and graphic design. Your core focus will be creating high-retention, B2C video content and on-brand design assets, with additional responsibility for behind-the-scenes content, organic social marketing, and eventually paid ad creative development.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to ad creative development, including concepting, editing versions, hooks, cutdowns, and variations for testing.
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for B2C audiences, focusing on social-first, high-retention pacing.
- Design on-brand static and motion assets, including thumbnails, social posts, story formats, and simple animations.
- Produce and edit behind-the-scenes content, capturing, structuring, and polishing authentic narratives.
- Support organic marketing by creating platform-native content and iterating based on performance signals.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and production teams to translate briefs into clear creative deliverables.
- Build and maintain simple creative systems, including templates, folders, naming conventions, and brand consistency.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in video editing and graphic design within a consumer (B2C) context.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both video editing (short-form preferred) and brand-consistent design assets.
- Proven ability to create authentic and engaging behind-the-scenes or lifestyle-style content.
- Solid understanding of organic social content formats and best practices, including hooks, pacing, and captions.
- Comfort working across multiple projects with tight timelines and frequent iteration.
- Prior remote work experience and fluency with remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Asana or similar.
- Candidates must have ideally worked with US- or UK-based companies; without this remote and cross-time-zone collaboration experience, applications will not be considered.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating or iterating paid social ad creatives for Meta, TikTok, or YouTube and versioning for testing.
- Basic motion graphics skills, such as simple kinetic text, transitions, and compositing.
- Copy instincts for on-screen text, hooks, calls-to-action, and captions.
- Experience working with creators or production teams on on-set or post-production workflows.
Technical Stack
- Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Motion Graphics: After Effects (nice-to-have)
- Design: Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma/Canva for design workflows
- Review & Approvals: Frame.io or similar
- Social Scheduling/Analytics: Tools like Later, Buffer, or Sprout
- Remote Collaboration: Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana/Trello or similar
