What You'll Do
- Develop and articulate the overall creative direction for projects, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and marketing objectives.
- Bring fresh direction and insight to creative output while maintaining HSBC brand and design standards.
- Lead and mentor the creative team across all development stages, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Account Servicing team to formulate briefs, set direction, and assist with internal and external project management.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of creative outputs using data and insights to refine strategies and improve future projects.
- Ensure high-quality work by consistently reviewing it against standards and striving for zero quality errors.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, leveraging this knowledge to inspire creative excellence.
- Build the team's service capabilities by reporting project concerns, suggesting resolutions, participating in reviews, and preparing production briefs.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of experience in an advertising/design agency environment or an in-house creative team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong leadership with high quality standards, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record conceptualizing and overseeing execution of large campaigns and projects for commercial and corporate brands.
- Proficient in utilizing various GenAI platforms.
- Strong video and motion graphic experience.
- Understanding of the principles and process of web development (UX/UI).
- Solid knowledge of print production.
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent people and social skills, able to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent working knowledge of industry-standard design software.
- Professional, articulate, and mature presence in all aspects of team and client relationships.
- Genuine enthusiasm for design and art direction, willing to share knowledge, experience, and inspiration with the team.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of emerging digital experience technologies is an advantage.
