Responsibilities
- Teaches Electrical Worker courses at a variety of times.
- Submits required reports and forms in a timely manner to Administrative Office.
- Assist in Developing and Utilizing the course syllabus for each course.
- Meets with and advises students either before or after class or by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods.
- Evaluates students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progress.
- Maintains professional relationships with students and colleagues.
- Continuously improves instructional quality by reviewing and utilizing innovative methodologies, techniques and delivery methods.
- Attends meetings, trainings and orientations as required.
- Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of all aspects of the Electrical Worker trade
- Mastery of NCCER electrical course content
- Skills in project leadership; style that emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and facilitation

- Ability to use effective strategies to engage students in their learning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with MS Office software

Work Arrangement
On-site — San Antonio
Additional Information
- Part-time position
- Hired on a semester-by-semester basis
- Work hours approximately 18 to 24 hours each week
- Classes may be offered during day, evening, and weekend
- Applications reviewed by Director of Education as hiring needs arise
- No communication unless selected for interview
- Classes held at San Antonio facility during academic year
