Kerzner International, a leader in luxury hotels and resorts, is looking for a Counsellor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the direct supervision of children aged 4-12 and ensuring the Kids Only program is delivered to our defined standard of quality. You will bring a sense of fun and enthusiasm to every activity, creating memorable experiences for our young guests.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with the Assistant Manager to supervise all Kids Only attendees daily.
- Directly supervise a group of children and ensure their personal safety.
- Deliver a program that is fun and exciting through showmanship and entertaining presentation.
- Lead various recreational, educational, and interpretive programs and excursions for children.
- Engage and involve children in all aspects of the program, including fitness activities, arts and crafts, games, excursions, special events, and cultural activities.
- Ensure good stewardship of supplies and resources.
- Provide guest service through positive interaction with parents, children, and teens, employing our we create joy philosophy.
- Promote strong, positive inter-departmental relations through respect for other areas of operation.
- Complete daily tasks as assigned.
- Communicate any problems or concerns with supervisors and managers daily.
- Assist with any other duties as required by the Assistant Manager or management team.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with children in a similar environment, such as a kids camp, after-school program, or childcare.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
