Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana is seeking a Consultant, Dental Economics and Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will be the analytical engine of the organization, driving analytics to support all aspects of government programs P&L management and delivering critical financial insights to support strategic projects.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with administrative and operational leadership to identify and quantify opportunities for improvements in financial performance.
Provide analytical insights in partnership with business teams to optimize revenue via rate advocacy discussions across all markets.
Drive cost management initiatives by identifying savings opportunities and tracking execution of performance against recent monthly results.
Lead alignment and consensus about financial decisions across markets and segments.
Present feedback to leadership regarding risks associated with financial projects and provide insight on historical trends and future expectations.
Provide strategic input for business decisions by overseeing the production of complex financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Two years of experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Knowledge in corporate finance, including budget processes, financial analysis for healthcare programs, cost accounting principles, managed care pricing, and monthly financial reporting.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to resolve complex problems using independent judgment.

Nice to Have

Previous management consulting experience.

This position follows a hybrid work model and is based in Detroit, MI.
