Responsibilities
- Oversee a large-scale ground-up data center construction project
- Provide high-level strategy, leadership, planning, and overall coordination of the CM’s on-site staff, project requirements, and stakeholders
- Ensure complete accountability for full project lifecycle, from pre-construction phase to commissioning/completion
- Serve as primary liaison between the AECOM Tishman Project Executive team, design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders/clients
- Collaborate with the general superintendent to direct day-to-day construction operations and long-term strategic direction of the project
- Ensure all project milestones are met on time and within budget
- Assist with team building and recruitment of additional team members as needed
- Manage the project budget within set parameters
- Oversee change order process with management team
- Champion and enforce a zero-incident safety culture
- Act as liaison between local AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), inspectors, and the community
Requirements
- Seasoned construction leader with experience in large-scale construction projects
- Proven ability to oversee full project lifecycle from pre-construction to commissioning
- Experience managing high-level strategy, leadership, planning, and coordination for construction projects
- Strong leadership skills to manage on-site staff and subcontractors
- Ability to serve as primary liaison between executive teams, design teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Experience collaborating with general superintendents on day-to-day operations and strategic direction
- Demonstrated success in meeting project milestones on time and within budget
- Experience managing project budgets and overseeing change order processes
- Commitment to enforcing a zero-incident safety culture
- Experience interfacing with local AHJs, inspectors, and community stakeholders
